About

Your Christian family away from home! At IBC Eindhoven, we open our Bibles to learn together, worship God together, build each other up in Christ, and serve Jesus shoulder to shoulder so that Jesus is glorified and lives are changed for eternity.

MISSION

The mission statement of IBC Eindhoven is: ‘Worshipping God – Building Believers – Sharing Jesus’.

VISION

Our vision is to reach the multi-cultural population of Eindhoven with the Gospel and the Word of God.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God and the authoritative basis for our doctrine and practice.

HISTORY

The International Baptist Church Eindhoven was founded in January 1988 by families living in the region, with the support of English-speaking churches in Brussels, The Hague and Eindhoven.

Throughout the many years and different seasons God has been faithful to IBC sustaining His church to this day. We are very thankful that IBC has been and still is a place where God is worshipped, the Bible taught, where believers are build up, and where unbelievers can hear about Jesus!

IBC Eindhoven was originally affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and is now connected and part of the International Baptist Convention. We always have had a multi-denominational and multicultural attendance.
So, regardless of where you come from and what your church background is, you are welcome to be part of our family.

“Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.”” (Luke 17:20, 21)

PASTOR

Pastor Auke Rienstra has a strong passion for Bible based, Gospel centered preaching and teaching! But at his core he is first a child of God, a husband to Grace and father of four children.

While completing his theological degree in the Netherlands (Evangelical Theological Seminary, 2008) he met his Australian wife Grace. During five years of church planting and evangelism in Australia he completed his masters degree in ministry in Australia (Malyon Theological College, 2018) before journeying back to the Netherlands.

Because of their culturally mixed family they love the international context of IBC. In a nutshell he defines himself as: ‘a nobody telling everybody about Somebody who can save anybody. It’s all about Jesus!’

“Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which He obtained with His own blood” (Acts 20:28)
